Part of California Hospital Medical Center’s community outreach efforts, the Health Ministry Program provides a Parish Nurse who visits community organizations to provide basic health screenings like cholesterol, blood sugar, TB skin tests, and anemia, as well as blood pressure checks and flu shots. 1010’s partnership with the hospital means a nurse visits each of 1010’s five properties every few months to provide these basic services as well as to offer health information and resources and referrals.
